Abstract
- The article offers information about the convênio or collaborative research agreement between the New York Botanical Garden and the Universidade Federal do Acre, initiated in 1990. As a result of the convênio, a collaborative partnership was defined, which published the first catalogue regarding Acre flora. It also led the two institutions to be aware of the future of the Amazon flora.
