Abstract

The article discusses a study detecting the antibodies in equine arteritis virus (EAV) in horse sera through recombinant chimaeric N/G<subscript>L</subscript> protein. It discusses the case of a Turkish horse sera analyzed for the presence of antibodies to EAV using the protein. The study involved 63 horses, which were clinically examined, with the recombinant chimaeric protein employed as an antigen. Discussions on several serological tests such as virus neutralization used to detect EAV are provided.
