Abstract

The article discusses the planning and selection practices used by performance auditors at the Netherlands Court of Audit. It is stated that the goal of the performance auditors is to audit the financial matters of the political system with the intention of obtaining the quality of the government policy and operational management. The financial matters being audited amount to approximately 350 billion euros and will be audited by 80 auditors. Here, it highlights the tools necessary to achieve the department's objectives to improve the regularity, effectiveness and integrity for public administration.
