Economic forecast.

The article forecasts the economic outlook in China including international assumption, economic growth, inflation, exchange rates and external sector for 2008 to 2009. The gross domestic product (GDP) growth at purchasing power parity exchange rates is presented. The government revised its figure of real GDP growth in 2006 to reflect efforts to incorporate underestimated production into official data. Consumer price inflation is also discussed.
