Abstract: This report describes the major provisions in the House-passed 2007 farm bill (H.R. 2419, H.Rept. 110-256) and compares them with current law. This comparison does not provide an exhaustive list of all provisions by individual sections or subsections within each title. Nor does it provide a detailed discussion of the budget offsets to cover additional spending on programs in the nutrition and energy titles that were adopted as part of the Manager's Amendment and En Bloc Reserve Fund Amendment.
