Abstract

The article reports the author's opinions regarding a paper written by Colonel Urwick. While the author found many of Urwick's statements about the work "Papers in the Science of Administration" to be valid, he found some of them to be misleading. Topics of discussion include organizational structure, organizational behavior, business size, and the diffusion of technological innovations.
