Can project alliancing agreements change the way we build?

The article discusses examples of integrated delivery project (IPD) contracts in the U.S. In a paper released by the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) in 2004, it advocated that IPD will be facilitated by the technology of building information modeling (BIM). Examples of contractual structures for IPD are the project alliance agreement used for the Australian National Museum, the Sutter Health Care building contract agreement and the model developed by the architectural firm NBBJ.
