This article discusses the laws and social protections for invalids in Germany. The author argues that the law should provide for all types of disabilities, regardless of how the individual incurred them or whether the disability is mental or physical. The law, however, does differentiate between them. The author also discusses how the handicapped are able to collect disability benefits, as well as other social benefits offered by the government.
