Monitoring Preschollers' Language and Early Literacy Growth and Development.

The article describes a procedure for monitoring the growth and development of young children as demonstrated through the significant learning domain of early literacy. General outcome measures can be utilized for progress monitoring. The steps for using GOMs include the implementation, graphing of data, analysis of trend lines, interpretation, and data-based decision making.
