Abstract
- The article presents examples of marketing research studies in grocery chain stores. Among the research methods discussed are management guides and organization charts, store development plans, sales projections and observations on management, store operation, and merchandising developments. Unclassified marketing research techniques are also discussed including evaluations of customer buying habits, analysis of customer comments, collected through suggestion boxes and interviews, and store service evaluations.
