Abstract
- The article presents information about elections for the governing boards of social security institutions in West Germany on May 25-27, 1962. Comments are given about voter turnout, and a comparison is drawn between previous votes and the 1962 elections. Further details are given about the difficulty of inspiring employees to take responsible action as voters. The activities of the West German trade association Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (DGB) are also described.
