Abstract
- The article features Dorset opera, a country house opera company in Great Britain. The company was founded by Robert Glen and Patrick Shelley and is committed to recruit professional singers for major character roles and seasoned tutors. For their annual summertime production, Dorset imitates the opera-as-social event model and takes place within the 600-seat theater of Bryanston School in Blandford, England.
