Abstract
- The article comments on a study which found dose-limiting toxicity of radiation pneumonitis when adjuvant radiation and paclitaxel were administered concurrently to patients with stage II and III breast cancer. It cites that the study showed that dose-limiting radiation pneumonitis limits the use of concurrent paclitaxel and radiation in breast cancer. It asserts that the study confirmed the high rate of radiation pneumonitis development when both paclitaxel and radiation were given.
