Abstract
- The article reports on the statement by the Local Government Association (LGA) in Great Britain that the Conservatives will not be able to control the LGA despite their winning of 911 English council seats and 39 authorities in the English local elections. Analysts said that the Tories failed to increase the number of chairs they can appoint to the LGA's major boards.
