Abstract

Information about several papers discussed at a meeting held by the National Bureau of Economic Research's (NBER) Program on Law and Economics in Cambridge, Massachusetts is presented. Among papers discussed were "Optimal Policy with Heterogeneous Preferences," by Louis Kaplow, "The Economics of Constitutional Rights and Voting Rules ," by Abraham Wickelgren and "Transparency and Corporate Governance," by Benjamin E. Hermalin and Michael S. Weisbach.
