Abstract

The article presents U.S. legal developments pertaining to commercial legislation. The Frank J. Ostrofe v. H. S. Crocker, Inc. case is cited. In this case a U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that an employee of a company charged with conspiracy to restrain trade has legal grounds to sue the company for damages. The court said antitrust injury can be suffered by parties other than the trade members against whom it was directed. The United States v. CBS, Inc., the United States v. American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., and the Eurim-Pharm GmbH v. Pfizer Inc., Pfizer Group Limited, Pfizer GmbH, Pfizer Italiana, S.p.A., Pfizer France, S.A. cases are also cited.
