Abstract

The article presents a case report of placenta accreta without previa diagnosed before delivery succeeded in preservation of the uterus by uterine artery embolization (UAE). The case involves a 34-year-old woman was referred to a hospital at 26 weeks of gestation because of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) with placental abnormality. It shows how placenta accreta carries an increased risk of maternal morbidity and mortality.
