Abstract
- Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to introduce the value of attending the Guadalajara Book Fair and a Sister Library program. Design/methodology/approach - The paper takes the form of an overview by a public library director attending an international book fair and Sister Library program. Findings - Attending the Guadalajara Book Fair is an invaluable experience not only for the attendee but for the library that the attendee represents. Participation in a Sister Library program is a cooperative venture that is beneficial to both parties.
