Abstract

This article discusses world news briefs. Rumors in Washington D.C. have shifted from conjecture about U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt's running for a third term in office to whether Roosevelt intends to bring the U.S. into war. A famine is threatened in North China. Additionally, the opponents of Nazi Leader Adolf Hitler are worried by the initial failures of the Allied expedition in Norway.
