Abstract
- The article deals with the giant blue catfish in North Carolina's Badin Lake caught by Eric Fincher. Fincher caught and released the record-breaking catfish, certified at 89 pounds and 4 feet, 4 inches long. Fincher put the giant catfish in a pool created by damming a creek. That was November 25, 2006. On November 27, certified scales were located, and the catfish was verified as a new state record.
