Abstract
- The article describes how to introduce a creative movement curriculum into a classroom for emotionally disturbed children. One of the greatest obstacles to overcome is the classroom life, in which students act out violently and have to be physically restrained by their teachers. To this end, the article offers three steps to introducing the movement curriculum. The first is teaching a basic movement vocabulary. The second is teaching how to sequence movement with symmetrical spatial operations. The third is an expansion of the activities and an encouragement of creativity.
