Dash to boost remote IT management.

The article presents information on the Desktop and Mobile Architecture for System Hardware (Dash) network initiative, introduced by the Distributed Management Task Force in Great Britain. Dash is a standard initiative for remote management of desktop and mobile systems that will deliver a set of specifications, providing architectural semantics, industry standard protocols and a set of profiles to standardise the secure management of desktop and mobile systems. It is informed that it has the capacity to integrate desktop and laptop management in an end-to-end management system.
