Abstract
- The writer of this article, a research student in psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London, describes a simple form of factor analysis which he has found very useful for quick analysis of data. His method reduces the arithmetical work required and obviates the necessity of rotating the reference axes when the factors have been found. It is a modification of the pre-selection method of Hilding Carlson which is not widely known in this country. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
