Abstract

Information about the paper discussed at a meeting of the Occupational Section of the British Psychological Society in June 1958 is presented. It discusses two problems on what techniques can be borrowed from psychology and applied in consumer research, and what are the ethical implications of applying psychology in the field. It states the ethics of using psychology to help sell anything are the justifiable concern of anyone working in the field.
