Opinion divided over raising leaving age, claims survey.

The article focuses on a Learning and Skills Network opinion poll which found that the opinion of parents and children in Great Britain are divided over plans to keep young people in education or training until 18. Most parents in the poll did not think that the proposals were a restriction on personal freedom, but majority of teenagers thought that such decisions should be left to them.
