Abstract

The article discusses the role of the U.S., Europe, and Israel to the religious revivalism in the Middle East. According to the author, the policies of the these three countries are pushing the region toward religious revivalism and away from secularism. One example given was the Islamic Republic of Iran, wherein they have threatened and refused to engage the Iranians and thereby strengthened the regime's hold on power.
