The article reports on the increasing involvement of the business intelligence (BI) market for small-to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Great Britain. BI vendors have been slowly unveiling new initiates and solutions for SMBs since 2007, in an aim to capture a share of the market. Included in the activity is the offering of software as a service by BI to the sector, which allows these companies to start small with BI and benefit from hosted solutions that are less costly to deploy.
