Abstract
- The article reports on the opportunities facing fixed income investors concerning the growth of interest rates in the bond market in India. The Reserve Bank of India has announced an increase rate by 25 basis points to 7.75% with 50 basis points on fixed income deposits. It states that investing in short-term debts offers an advantage for investors to generate high profits Short-term bond funds include government securities and fixed maturity plans which show positive returns.
