Development of information search expertise: Research students' knowledge of source types.

The article focuses on the development of information searching expertise by graduate students conducting original research. The authors state the intention of their paper is to identify the types of sources or information needs of engineering research students and possible changes in types of information needed over time. Previous research was referenced by the authors and they explain their research methodology, collecting data through surveys, observations, student feedback and interviews over the course of one year.
