A BILL OF RIGHTS FOR SCHOOL COUNSELORS.

The article presents a study which highlights the role of school counselors in school management and organization in the U.S. Previous studies revealed that student counselors are often loaded with responsibilities that are far related to counseling theory and practice such as clerks and attendance accountants. This study aims to cite the practical functions of counselors which concentrate on counseling of personal, educational and vocational problems. Furthermore, it proposes a bill of rights which corresponds to the role of school counselors.
