Abstract
- The author presents insights on selecting and developing research/technology leaders. He cites that a leader should be the one who is followed by his/her subordinates. Different types of leaders are needed by technology companies including strategic, operation and networking leaders. He mentions that leaders must articulate a meaningful business purpose. He states that leadership training should emphasize self-presentation in order to communicate effectively.
