Abstract

The article cites a study to determine the usability of a human-powered centrifuge for hypergravity resistance training. The main thrust of the study is focused on testing the hypothesis that hypergravity can be used as a training modality for the skeletal muscles in microgravity. It made use of 22 males and 19 females as test subjects and the article further provides graphical representation on the findings of the study.
