PRESCRIPTIONS, BASED ON PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF CENTRAL RUSSIA.

The paper describes main types of professional prohibitions in traditional culture of Central Russia. These prohibitions constitute a specific branch of socio-cultural norms. Most attention is paid to specific prohibitions relating to certain gender, certain period of time, certain phase of labour process (its end or its beginning) or certain task (e.g., purchasing, keeping and liquidating of labour inventory) only.
