Abstract

The article reports on the concerns of paper recycling companies over the increasing export rates of recovered papers from Great Britain to China. According to Chris Huhne, liberal democrat environmental secretary, that the exported recovered papers to China had increased from 4,000 metric tons to over 1.5 million metric tons since 2007. Brian Perry, chairman of Perry Recycling, has visited China to see himself how material is processed and reports that China has the latest technology.
