Abstract
- The article presents the results of a study that examined oligodendrocyte lineage transcription factor 2 (OLIG2) as a candidate gene for susceptibility to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It also explored whether comorbidity subtypes of OCD have distinct associations with OLIG2 and the functionality related OLIG1 gene. It was also hypothesized that the genes were associated with OCD regardless of the presence of comorbid Tourette disorder.
