Commenting on Donaldson's Commentaries.

The author comments on the commentary of E. Talbot Donaldson in the issue of the journal. She was amazed about an opinion on the commentary which states that the edition is not feminist enough or implicitly sexist. She believes that the commentary presents special challenges for modern readers of earlier literary criticism. She also states that Donaldson is an accomplished classicist.
