Abstract
- The article looks at the newspaper business in the U.S. and focuses on newspaper advertising. According to the article, advertising agency executives say that the decline in newspaper spending is a reflection of an industry that has suffered from layoffs and circulation declines. Scott Berg, worldwide media direct at the computer company HP, states that much of the advertising budget that HP used to set aside for newspaper advertising has shifted to digital media.
