Abstract
- The article discusses the author's experience of witnessing the official debut of the paper sari at the Lotos Club in New York City. A certain amount of time was spent in admiring the baroque façade of the club, as well as reading its New York Community Trust plaque. The author had some time to survey the party and be introduced to several people by a friend. Performer Susan Hoffman was one of the several people introduced to the author.
