Abstract

The article focuses on different projection of war by media on the two sides. Each camp is seeing the same war differently. Arabs and Muslims outside the Middle East were distrustful of Western media for its one-sided coverage, and therefore have arranged for homegrown television networks which reflects their perspectives. However, New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ market system have expelled al-Jazeera reporters for broadcasting grisly pictures and aggressive coverage.
