Abstract
- The article focuses on the need for nonprofit boards to develop a set of their own norms. All board members should agree with the norms that will be developed. The norms should be reviewed with all new board members. The board norms can be used as a resource and support tool for the board. The board should also develop a set of norms for how it communicates with and relates to its administrators.
