Abstract
- The article presents an abstract related to the study of the development of synapse in mouse brain in the absence of presynaptic signaling. Researchers generated mice defective in presynaptic signaling deleting the munc18-1 gene, which is necessary for regulated exocytosis. These mice show no evoked or spontaneous secretion throughout development and throughout the brain.
