Abstract
- The article discusses the author's experience in a journey with U.S. Geological Survey representative Anita Harris to the glacial landscapes in the U.S. He provides the details of the journey from their walk to the Precambrian highlands of New Jersey, to the Delaware Water Gap in Pennsylvania until they reached the peak of Mt. Tom in Massachusetts. He also presents a picture on the journey's environment, highlighting the formation of rocks, mountains, seafloor and the plate tectonics.
