Abstract
- The article explores on the shift in European Union (EU) policy tackled by the leadership of British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the light of earlier pro-European transformation. It entails an interrogation of the criticisms of Prime Minister Blair's approach to Europe that came out from British Labour party leaders, who first acquired the social Europe approach. It also focuses on the different opinions of the debate pertaining the role of EU and how the Labour movement should set about it.
