Abstract

The article reports that the U.S. government has sent more American military advisers in El Salvador and at the economist Arthur Laffer's Laffer Curve. According to the U.S. President Ronald Reagan, the advisers were sent only to train El Salvadoran troops and not to accompany them into combat in Vietnam. The Laffer Curve provides theoretical basis for Reagan's tax-cutting plan.
