- The article announces the winners of the McKinsey Foundation for Management Research Inc.'s award. The two best articles that appeared in "Harvard Business Review" during 1971 are: "Myth of the Well-Educated Manager," by J. Sterling Livingston; and "What We Can Learn From the Japanese Management," by Peter F. Drucker. Members on the board of judges include Charles W. Adams, John L. Beckley, E. Keith Owens, George A. Steiner, and Jayne B. Spain. Brief information is given about the selection criteria and the honorarium.
