Abstract

The article offers a look at the late part of a fall season in Connecticut. On Main Street in Essex, weigela bush has been in full-bloom, there were fresh raspberries at Salisbury and a tower of Van Doren morning glories was in sight at a hillside garden in Cornwall. Meanwhile, migrating fall warblers trailed along the routes in some parts of the state and mocking birds were unexpectedly eyed in Hartford County.
