Abstract
- The article presents an abstract of the study "Oral Tolerance to Low Dose IVIG: Immunomodulation of Experimental APS." In this study oral tolerance was induced in mice by feeding low dose of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG). The results shows that the mice did not develop serological and clinical manifestations of experimental antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), and IVIG given orally before priming with the antigen, resulted in prevention of experimental APS development.
