Abstract
- The article ponders on how artists would choose to depict the art librarian of the nineteen nineties. It cites the symbols employed by Robert Campin in his painting, Merode Altarpiece, to express the importance of Mary and Joseph in Christian thought. It suggests that artists might picture art librarians as a goddess or hamster.
