Abstract
- The article presents a study that aims to verify the co-infection of porcine circovirus-2 (PCV2) and Pneumocystosis in swine in Brazil. In this study, pig lungs were examined, those with lesions were identified and the areas occupied by lesions were measured and recorded as percent of the total lung. Results showed that co-infections were detected in 28% of total specimens analyzed, where PCV2 and Pneumocystosis co-infections were found in 24.6% and 29.5%, respectively.
