Abstract

The article presents the case of a 7-week-old infant who was born at term with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome presenting with subdural hematoma and retinal hemorrhages in Great Britain. The baby was seen with bleeding from one nostril, a bulging anterior fontanelle and drowsiness. A computed tomographic scan showed an acute left occipital subdural hematoma. It was explained that the syndrome is a mild disorder that usually occur for babies who are two and twelve weeks old.
